Payment technology pioneer Payter has announced the appointment of two senior executives, Jack Driessen and Ryan Philo. The move comes amidst the company’s ongoing expansion efforts in the UK, Europe, and the USA.

Jack Driessen: A Financial Whiz in the Team

The newly appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Jack Driessen, brings a wealth of experience to Payter. With a 12-year career in finance, Driessen joins the team from De Heus, Europe’s largest animal nutrition company. His prior role involved serving as CFO for the Egyptian joint venture and Area Manager of East Africa within the Koudijs brand.

Driessen expressed his enthusiasm for joining Payter, noting the company’s noticeable presence and the impact of its payment terminals on daily transactions. He applauded Payter’s commitment to constant improvement, which is evident in the user-friendly nature of its systems that allow consumers to pay with a simple tap and give vendors the tools to monitor their terminals remotely.

Ryan Philo: From Optomany to Payter

Ryan Philo, the new Chief Product Officer (CPO), brings over 25 years of experience in the UK and European payments industry. Philo previously served as the CTO and later the CPO at Optomany Limited, where he oversaw the development of the innovative Omni-Channel Managed Payment Processing products and services.

Upon joining Payter, Philo expressed his delight and privilege to join the team and help propel the company’s suite of products and services to new heights.

A Vote of Confidence from the CEO

Remco Willemse, CEO of Payter, expressed his confidence in the new appointments. He believes Philo’s extensive experience will raise the standard of Payter’s offerings. Similarly, Driessen’s expertise is expected to guide the finance department towards a successful future.

Willemse also noted that 2024 has already seen the addition of talented and enthusiastic team members and marked the opening of new global opportunities. The recent appointments of Driessen and Philo are set to further strengthen Payter’s global foothold, particularly in the unattended contactless payment terminal market.
