PayPal Appoints Jamie Miller as New CFO

PayPal Holdings, Inc. has announced the appointment of Jamie Miller as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), taking over her new role on November 6, 2023. Miller will be in charge of PayPal’s financial strategies and lead the company’s global finance organization, which includes treasury, tax, planning, reporting, and investor relations. Miller will replace acting CFO Gabrielle Rabinovitch.

Jamie Miller’s Impressive Career

PayPal’s President and CEO, Alex Chriss, praised Miller as a highly accomplished CFO and business executive, citing her 33-year career in which she has demonstrated leadership across various industries, including both public and private companies. Her record includes driving strong financial results and instilling financial and operational discipline.

Before joining PayPal, Miller served as the Global CFO of EY and was responsible for leading the separation and IPO of its strategy, tax, and consulting business. She also served as CFO of Cargill between June 2021 and January 2023, overseeing the company’s financial activities and taking on corporate strategy and business development duties in April 2022.

Miller’s earlier career involved 12 years at General Electric, where she served as Senior Vice President and CFO during a crucial financial turnaround period.
