Optty Partners with Monoova to Enhance Payment Rails in Australia

Published 6 months ago

The world’s first universal payments platform, Optty, has formed a partnership with Australia’s leading PayTo provider, Monoova. This collaboration will provide Optty access to Australia’s payment rails, including PayTo, PayID, BPAY, and online card payments via Monoova’s API.

A Pioneering Universal Payments Platform

Optty has already achieved over 600 integrations across nine unique payment architectures. The platform supports 120 currencies and operates in 140 countries, with partnerships established with over 100 Alternative Payment Method (APM) & Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) providers. These include notable names such as Afterpay, Klarna, Grab, Zip, Shopback, and Humm.

Benefitting from the Partnership

Travlr, an e-commerce platform for building travel websites, is the first client to enjoy the benefits of the Monoova-Optty partnership. This collaboration will enable Travlr to offer enterprises, travel agents, advisors, and travel companies access to PayTo, Australia’s new real-time, account-to-account checkout solution delivered on the New Payment Platform (NPP).

PayTo provides businesses a digital method to initiate real-time payments from customers’ bank accounts without surcharge, while also offering customers visibility and control over their payment arrangements.

High-Value Purchases Made Simple

The partnership with Monoova is expected to be transformative for Optty’s specialisation in servicing industries characterised by high-value purchases. Monoova’s payment solutions, including PayTo, address the high cost and poor experience associated with conventional payment methods for high-value purchases like flights and hotel bookings.

Monoova’s commitment to innovation and helping businesses scale large, ongoing transaction flows seamlessly and affordably aligns well with Optty’s goals.

Commitment to Innovation and Excellence

Christian Westerlind Wigstrom, CEO and Co-founder of Monoova, expressed his company’s commitment to pioneering, amplifying, and simplifying the world of payments for all businesses in Australia. He believes that their partnership with Optty will enable faster and improved experiences for businesses and end-users alike.

Natasha Zurnamer, Founder and CEO of Optty, also highlighted the company’s commitment to reshaping payments integration. She expressed Optty’s aim to transform integration to provide an expansive choice for merchants and consumers alike. The partnership with Monoova, she believes, exemplifies this drive to advance payment technology.
