Solvimon, a bill platform provider from Utrecht, has successfully raised €9 million in a recent seed funding round. The platform, established by former Adyen VPs, offers solutions to common challenges faced by businesses when implementing flexible pricing.

Solvimon’s Innovative Platform

Solvimon’s platform provides powerful tools for mid to large businesses, allowing them to easily operationalize modern pricing methods. These methods include ‘usage-based’ pricing, where customers pay only for what they consume, and hybrid models that combine usage-based and traditional, user-based subscriptions.

The platform also enables businesses to model complex pricing plans, monitor invoices in real-time, and uncover insights into product usage. This helps identify opportunities for revenue expansion and customer retention.

Streamlining the Monetisation Process

Solvimon’s platform is operational across the entire monetisation process, streamlining billing and unlocking key business insights. The CEO of Solvimon, Kim Verkooij, stated that while there has been innovation in pricing and metering solutions, businesses are still underserved, and their options are often limited and expensive.

Investors and Future Plans

The recent seed funding was raised from Northzone and a select group of business angels. Michiel Kotting, a partner at Northzone, expressed his team’s excitement about the partnership with Solvimon, citing an urgent need for a flexible yet comprehensive billing platform.

The funds from the seed round will be used to expand the team and accelerate Solvimon’s go-to-market strategy. This investment marks a significant step forward for Solvimon as it continues to innovate and provide effective billing solutions for businesses.
