This partnership allows William Hill users to select the Instant Bank Transfer option for quick payment into their accounts.

The transactions, powered by open banking and instant payment rails, enable customers to transfer their winnings directly to their bank accounts within seconds. TrueLayer authenticates all payments directly with a player’s bank, ensuring compliance with Payment Services Directive (PSD2) and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) regulations. This process significantly reduces the risk of fraud and unauthorized transactions.

Instant Payments: A Key Factor for iGaming Players

TrueLayer and YouGov’s research shows that quick payouts are crucial for iGaming customers. Eight out of ten European players regard swift payouts as a key factor when choosing a betting provider.

Furthermore, instant pay-ins and payouts are vital for attracting new users and fostering customer loyalty. Over half of the iGaming players in Europe (55%) expressed they would likely switch to a provider that offers instant payments. Meanwhile, 64% stated they would trust an operator more if it offered instantaneous withdrawals and deposits. Notably, 28% of customers claimed they would consider depositing more money if they could withdraw their winnings instantly.
