Lydia, a prominent mobile banking app, has teamed up with Qover, the insurtech firm, to launch an innovative travel insurance offering. The new service is only available to Lydia’s premium cardholders, referred to as Black+ users, and is accessible in Belgium, France, Portugal, and Spain.

The travel insurance programme is powered by Qover’s embedded insurance orchestration platform, backed by Zurich and Cover-More. This partnership creates a seamlessly integrated solution that transforms user engagement with insurance.

User-Centric Features and Benefits

The partnership introduces a range of user-oriented features designed to streamline the in-app insurance experience. Users can now submit insurance claims directly through the Lydia app and automatically generate insurance certificates. The travel insurance solution extends to the cardholders’ family members, providing comprehensive coverage and ensuring a secure travel experience for the entire family.

Cyril Chiche, Co-founder and CEO of Lydia, explained that their priority was to create an effortless experience for Black+ users. Chiche emphasized the importance of aligning insurance experiences with Lydia’s high standards through Qover’s platform capabilities and transparent insights into claims data and program performance. He noted that they were committed to refining the insurance experience and backend processes, positioning Qover as an ideal partner for Lydia.

Qover’s Approach to Service and Satisfaction

Quentin Colmant, CEO and Co-founder of Qover, observed that Lydia’s exceptionally high standards, exemplified by strict SLAs, were perfectly suited for Qover, where delivering superior service and customer satisfaction is integral to their DNA. Colmant expressed his anticipation to see how the partnership develops as they push the boundaries of what the fintech landscape can achieve.

This strategic collaboration signifies a substantial step forward in Qover’s goal to establish a global safety net for individuals worldwide.
