CondoConta Receives R$30 Million Funding Boost from EXT Capital

CondoConta, a fintech firm focused on condominiums, has secured R$30 million in a funding round led by EXT Capital. These funds will be used to accelerate the company’s condominium credit arm, enhancing its ability to provide financing for condominiums across the nation.

CondoConta’s Achievements and Goals

CondoConta has reportedly processed around R$500 million in transactions and serves approximately 3,000 condominium clients throughout Brazil. The company has previously raised R$92.6 million in two separate funding rounds from Redpoint eVentures, in partnership with Darwin Startups, and Igah Ventures. In addition, CondoConta has secured two FIDCs, one worth R$20 million with Empírica and another valued at R$50 million with Galápagos.

Rodrigo Della Rocca, CEO and co-founder of CondoConta, expressed optimism about the firm’s future. He stated that this investment will fuel further advancements and enhance the company’s offerings to condominium managers. The firm’s current goal is to reach R$1 billion in transactions across the country.

EXT Capital’s Investment Strategy

This funding round represents a significant milestone for EXT Capital. It is the first startup the company has invested in that is not part of the DOMO Invest portfolio. Vasco Henriques de Almeida, founding partner of EXT Capital, praised CondoConta’s role in leading the digitisation of banking for condominiums in Brazil. He hinted at the possibility of future collaborations with the fintech.

Concluding the investment was a great opportunity for EXT Capital to finally join forces and add value alongside other investors, said Gabriel Sidi, co-founder of EXT Capital.
