Published about 1 year ago

The collaborative efforts of Boost, CelcomDigi, and Mastercard have led to the launch of Beyond Card in Malaysia. The card enables payments from the Boost wallet balance or via a pre-approved credit line under the innovative ‘Pay Later’ concept.

Starting from October 9, a select group of Celcom customers will be the first with the opportunity to apply for the card through the Boost app. The offer will subsequently extend to Digi subscribers.

A New Chapter in Financial Inclusion

The Beyond Card sets itself apart by integrating a Shariah-compliant ‘Pay Later’ feature known as Boost PayFlex. This underscores the partners’ commitment to expanding financial inclusion in Malaysia.

Unprecedented Travel Rewards

The Beyond Card holds the distinction of being the only card in Malaysia and Southeast Asia to offer Mastercard Travel Rewards. Cardholders can anticipate exclusive perks and rewards, further enhancing the card’s appeal. The application process for the card is conveniently streamlined via the Boost app.

A Milestone in Collaborative Innovation

Sheyantha Abeykoon, Group CEO of Boost, expressed excitement about the product launch, calling it a “pivotal moment in inclusive financial innovation.” He highlighted the collective strengths of the partnering companies, all of which are flagship Malaysian firms in the Axiata Group.
